Alfred L. "Pete" Nichols, Jr., 61 - Bickmore

Alfred L. "Pete" Nichols, Jr. of Bickmore, West Virginia formerly of Otto, West Virginia died November 12, 2012 of an apparent heart attack while working in Clay County, West Virginia.

He was born April 2, 1961 in Spencer, West Virginia a son of Alfred L. "Big Pete" and Ruth Hosey Nichols of Otto.

He currently worked for Pierson Lumber in Clay County and formerly owned and operated his own logging and timber company for several years. He was a Spencer High School graduate and enjoyed collecting old antique engines.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Kaily Boggs and her husband, Nathan, of Teays Valley, West Virginia and Samantha Burkhamer and her husband, Chuck, of Boomer, West Virginia; a former son-in-law, Chris Seabolt; a brother, Bill Nichols of Otto; and six grandchildren.

Service 1:00 pm Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Jackie Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
