NEW $350 CASH SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2002 GRADS - LK Longbeards Essay Contest

The Little Kanawha Longbeards, a chapter of the National Wildlife Turkey Federation, is announcing a $350 cash scholarship for a graduate of the Class of 2002.

The scholarship will be given to a 2002 student from Calhoun or Gilmer County.

Applicants must write an essay, up to 250 words on "Why Hunt?"

Essays can be mailed or hand delivered to Little Kanawha Longbeards, c/o Brad Lay, P. O. Box 194, Grantsville WV 26147, postmarked by August 15, 2002.

The Little Kanawha Longbeards is a rapidly growing hunter's group in Gilmer-Calhoun. Hunters, young or older, are encouraged to join the group by contacting Lay.
