HUNTINGTON TRIPLE SHOOTING -Huntington Police are releasing details r about a triple shooting Wednesday night which includes information that three children ages 5 and younger were present when a gunman opened fire.

Huntington chief Skip Holbrook says six adults, as well as the three young kids, were in a first floor apartment when as many as eight rounds were fired.

All three of the adults hit were taken to the hospital, their injuries not considered life threatening.

Police say the victims are a married couple and a cousin.

Holbrook said a male suspect walked up and knocked on the apartment door. When a person opened the door, the man opened fire throughout the apartment, according to police.

The shooter is on the run.

BEER THEFT ENDS WITH SWAT RESPONSE - Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a robbery that happened at the FasCheck in Malden. Kanawha Deputies and SWAT arrested Bilal M. Lyles, 20, of Malden, after he shoplifted two cans of beer from the FasChek.

Lyles was just arrested by Charleston Police for a similar incident at the Gabriel Brothers' Store in Kanawha City. Lyles was reportedly confronted by FasCheck employees while trying to steal the beer and a pistol fell out of his pants when he ran out of the store. He stopped to pick up the gun and brandished it at witnesses.

Lyles ran two blocks to his house. Deputies surrounded the house and summoned SWAT.

After several minutes of refusing calls from police, Lyles surrendered and was arrested.

Deputies found a Taurus Brand .40 cal pistol, loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition, hidden under a bathtub.

He was charged with shoplifting, carrying a concealed weapon, obstructing an officer, and fleeing.
