Former Calhoun Commissioner, DHS employee and schoolteacher, Willis "Tom"
Gainer, is reportedly out of intensive care, according to family members.
A patient in the Cleveland Clinic, they report he is alert and talking with family
members and friends.
Gainer underwent surgery for cancer, after being in re-mission for a considerable
period of time.
