POWER MOSTLY RESTORED IN CALHOUN - Thousands Without Power In Mountain State

(11/01/2012)
Several West Virginia counties are without power as a result of outages caused by snowfall created by Hurricane Sandy, with shelters in place for thousands of residents.

Power company officials are saying it will be several days before power can be restored, although progress was made Wednesday.

While many of the counties are in the state's mountains, severe outages happened in counties just east and south of Calhoun.
