ARNOLDSBURG WOMAN PLACED ON PROBATION FOLLOWING DRUG CHARGES

Samantha Brooke Starcher, 21, of Arnoldsburg, was placed on three years probation by Judge David W. Nibert in Roane Circuit Court, following an indictment on drug related charges. Starcher was arrested in Spencer with two other individuals following a traffic stop in June, 2011, with officers finding Fentanyl patches, 30 prescription pills and marijuana. Starcher entered into a plea agreement to participate is a substance abuse program at the Roane Co. Day Center. Prosecutor Josh Downey said she had almost completed the program, according to Spencer Newspapers. Judge Nibert also ordered Starcher to complete 75-hours of community service.
