GOODRICH PLACED ON PROBATION AFTER METH STRUGGLE - Calhoun Circuit Court Cases

Paul R. Goodrich, 24, of Grantsville, was placed on three years probation this week by Judge David W. Nibert in Calhoun Circuit Court.

Goodrich, one of Calhoun County High School's most accomplished and award winning athletes, was arrested In February, 2012 on charges of operating a clandestine meth lab.

A few weeks after being released on bond, Goodrich was charged again after he allegedly purchased meth-making ingredients from Rite Aid and Dollar General Store in Grantsville, including pseudophedrine and instant ice compresses.

- Jody Lynn Shock, burglary case continued to November 16, plea.

- Michael Williamson, delivery of controlled substance, sentenced 1-5 years, suspended and placed on three years probation.

- David Bailey, DUI 3rd, sentenced 1-3, returning November 16 for modification or alternative sentencing.

- William "Seth" Denmark, judge denies deal agreement over murder charge, trial set for Feb. 26, 2013.
