| Lucy Virginia Wright, 73, of Shock, Gilmer County, WV was called home to be with her heavenly Father October 11, 2012.
Born May 28, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Lura Greathouse Parsons.
She attended the Shock Church of Christ.
Surviving are three children, Lorina (Colin) Hartshorn and Everett (Brenda) Wright of Shock and William (Angie) Wright of Fairmont; eight grandchildren, Loretta, Scott, Andrew (Sonja), Jay, Everett II (Amber), Emily (Jerama), Jamie and Taylor; four great grandchildren, Tyana, Mackenzie, Landon and Gavin; two brothers, Harley and Kenny; five sisters, Kathaleen, Wanda, Kathy, Sheila and April. <
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, James Erman Wright; one sister and one infant brother.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Minister Vernon Kerns and Minister Gene Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Collins Community Cemetery at Stumptown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services. |
