(10/13/2012)
A man with a Calhoun connection has been charged by Roane County authorities after he exhibited illegal behavior while appearing to post bond for his sons.

The Roane County Sheriffs Department had arrested Jeremy Knicely, 20, of Rosedale, for burglary and driving suspended DUI, and his brother, Phillip Knicely, 23, on a warrant from Calhoun County.

The Knicely brother's father, Guy Knicely, 42, was arrested at the Roane County Sheriff's Department where he came following their arrests.

The elder Knicely allegedly became combative with officers and the victim of a burglary, according to Spencer Newspapers.

Guy Knicely was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

Larry Nichols, according to the complaint, was alone at his residence on Speed Road, when Jeremy Knicely allegedly forced open a door and discovered Nichols, his cousin, inside the dwelling and asked for a glass of water.

The complaint says Knicely left the residence with a .22 rifle, telling his cousin to not tell anyone.

Al three have been arraigned before Roane magistrate Russell Goodwin.
