SPORTSCASTERS URGE ATTENDANCE AT FINAL HOME RED DEVILS GAME

(10/12/2012)
The last home game for the Calhoun Red Devils is tonight.

Jim Sullivan, the voice of Red Devil football on WVRC, is urging community members to come out and support the team.

"Yes, the Calhoun County High School football team is having a tough time this year. Those who have played competitive sports knows that when things are going good there is no better feeling in the world," said Sullivan.

"But when things are tough, they are tough all over."

"The athletes in all Calhoun Sports are playing their hearts out and when there are very few fans there, they feel unappreciated," Sullivan said.

Sullivan, speaking for his fellow broadcasters Michael Sullivan and Robert Bonar, said "We, the voices of the Red Devils, challenge all alumni, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and all other fans to come out and support all sports teams, cheerleaders, band and all students on Senior Night."

"You could be surprised with the results," he concluded.
