Marissa Dawn Kyer, 3 months old, passed into eternal sleep on October 6, 2012 at Roane General Hospital, Spencer. She was born June 22, 2012 in Charleston, a daughter of Joey Kyer Sr. and Patricia Collins Kyer of Spencer. In addition to her parents, she is survived by brothers, Joey Dale Kyer Jr., and Zachary Glen Collins; sisters, Angelia Nichole White, and Clarissa Beth Kyer; paternal grandparents, Steve and Peggy Kyer; maternal grandparents, Rondal and Patsy Collins; aunts, Melissa and Jessica Collins, all of Spencer. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dennis Kyer; uncle, Michael Kyer; and an aunt, Amy Cummings. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Michael F. "Mike" King officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Reedy. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
