The 16-year-old suspect in the Labor Day shooting of three family members in Doddridge County will be tried as an adult, following a hearing Wednesday. Joseph Spencer allegedly shot and killed his parents, Frederick and Dixie Spencer, and his 9-year-old sister. He has been charged with three counts of homicide and is currently being held in a juvenile detention center. The youth could be indicted as early as this month, but there are also grand juries in February and July.
