Lora W. Slider, 75, of Ripley, West Virginia died July 17, 2002, at Eldercare of West Virginia.

She was born April 4, 1927, in Calhoun County, daughter of the late Ray O. and Jane Williams Blosser. She was a mother, homemaker, a Christian and was a former employee of the Ripley Dairy Queen.

She is survived by a son, Michael A. Slider of Letart, WV; a daughter, Terri Fox of Evans, WV; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley D. Slider; a daughter, Jane Robin and two sisters.

Graveside services, open to the public, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Parrish Hill Cemetery, Ripley, with. John Gunther officiating.

Memorials may be made to Eldercare of West Virginia.
