BARBOUR COUNTY SHOOTING - West Virginia State Police are investigating a Sunday night shooting at Moatsville, Barbour County.

William Dalton, 34, was shot in the face from a shot gun. Dalton was transported to Broaddus Hospital and charged with wanton endangerment, police said.

Police said at least one other person will be charged and additional charges could be pending.

Dalton is being held at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

PARKERSBURG BAR INCIDENT - Parkersburg police responded to Uncle Mike's Bar on 7th Street at 2:30 a.m. in reference to a man with a gun.

Officers spoke to witnesses and the alleged victim who stated that James David Andrews II, 34. pointed a pistol at him.

Andrews was taken into custody and charged with brandishing a firearm, a High Point 9mm pistol.

A check of Andrew's criminal history revealed he was convicted of domestic battery in Washington County, Ohio in 1996, meaning he is prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Andrew's was then charged with as a person prohibited from possessing a firearm.
