ARNOLDSBURG SUMMER ACADEMY - Good Health And Exercise

Dan Cosgrove Arnoldsburg Summer Academy has a different theme each week. This week's theme was "Health and Recreation". On Monday everyone, staff and students, lined up outside for an exercise period. Stretching exercises with a few jumping jacks got the heart pumping. On Tuesday, Bob Hamburg from Spring Creek Dairy in Spencer talked to the students about nutrition and gave samples of Tofu to the students. Tuesday was also "No TV Day". Students pledged not to watch TV or play a computer game for 24 hours. We will continue to exercise and try other healthy foods throughout the week. We'll wrap up the week on Friday, swimming at Cedar Creek State Park.
