"The Wirt County Sheriffs Department is receiving reports that individuals are going door to door asking for monetary donations for local churches," says Sheriff D. Keith Wilson Jr..
None of the local Churches are currently running door to door campaigns, although individuals are scamming money from the citizens of Wirt County.
"If you have any information or have been approached by these individuals please contact the Wirt County Sheriff Department at 304-275-4222.
