Edith Marie Boyles, 86, of Spencer, West Virginia, died September 16, 2012, in the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after an extended illness. She was born March 5, 1926, in Roane County, a daughter of the late Edward and Goldie Short Grimm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Boyles, August 28, 2012; daughter, Debbie Sue McClain; grandson, Jason Mace; and brother, Ray Grimm. She was a homemaker and a member of the Boggs Fork Community Church, Spencer. Survivors include a son, Jeff Boyles and Joy Turner of Spencer; grandchildren, Heather Boyles of Charlotte, NC, Nicholas Boyles of Buckhannon and Aaron Mace of Parkersburg; great grandchildren, Seth Mace, Austin Mace, Levi Mace and Skylar Mace, Gracie Boyles and Hannah Boyles. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Russell Stump officiating.
