CALHOUN BOARD HAS WORK SESSION TODAY - Board Will Approve Contract For Arnoldsburg School Building

The Calhoun Board of Education is holding a two-hour work session today to to define the school board and superintendents goals for 2012 and to review the County Policy Manual. The regular board meeting is at 6:30 p.m. The board is expected to approve the new Arnoldsburg Elementary School construction bid award to BBL Carlton Construction, contingent upon WV-SBA approval. The base bid is $6,088,000. Also on the agenda is approving a bid for the school's equipment and furniture. The agenda includes approval for school volunteers, a number of employment items and approval for home schooling requests. The entire agenda is posted on their web site.
