US MARSHALS CAPTURE FUGITIVE IN ROANE COUNTY

(08/31/2012)
A federal fugitive has been captured in Roane County, according to a press release from U.S. Marshals got a tip that Jerry Key was hiding out at a house in Amma. When marshals arrived to a residence at Amma, Key was spotted running through the woods.

After a short chase, they say he tried to reach into a fanny pack, which forced Marshals to use a stun gun on him.

Key has been wanted on charges of violating his parole.

He recently served 15 years in prison on firearm charges, which stem from the sexual assault of a family member.

Authorities say Key is also considered a person of interest in other sexual abuse cases in Kanawha County.
