Responders have difficulty evaluating ATV victim on Rowels Run

A 37-year-old Hardman Fork man was injured on Rowels Run Road Wednesday evening when his four-wheeler struck a ditch or hillside, throwing him from the ATV, which then landed in a creek-bed.

State Police, Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville VFD responded to the scene, after which the man was combative, responders saying the accident was related to alcohol.

EMS personnel had difficulty evaluating his condition. He was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System in Grantsville.
