WORF NEW ASST. PRINCIPAL AT ROANE HIGH

Roane County High School has a new assistant principal, according to Spencer Newspapers. Calhoun Middle-High School Principal Mike Worf has been hired for the position, a school which had five assistant principals last year, according to the newspaper. Worf submitted his resignation to the Calhoun Board of Education. He held the position for three years. Worf, a graduate of Glenville State College and Salem International University, has spent 34 years in the ministry, 20 years as pastor of the Victory Baptist Church near Grantsville.
