State Police responded to a 911 call from Letherbark about 4:30 p.m. Friday after a man ran into a house and told the homeowner that a man was going to shoot and kill him.

The man was identified by sources at the scene as Josh Boswell, 21, saying he was being pursued by Fred Starcher, who has been a resident of the Orma-Minnora area.

Some of the individuals chasing Boswell were reportedly in vehicles on the highway.

Starcher, after reportedly chasing Boswell on foot, told police he was having chest pain and was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System by Calhoun EMS.
