![]() ![]() Two Gandeeville, Roane County residents are in Central Regional Jail, charged with operating a clandestine meth lab. Annette Marie Starcher, 29, has been charged with operating a clandestine drug lab, a felony, one count of conspiracy and one count for petit larceny. Gary Andrew Nichols, 31, has been charged with operating a clandestine meth lab, one count of conspiracy, one count of possession of an illegal substance, and one count for violation of home confinement. Bond has been set over $100,000 for each of the accused. Spencer Newspapers reported this week that meth labs are once again surging in the region, the shake-and-bake system much easier to produce the substance. The Roane County Sheriff's Department arrested the couple after it was discovered they were buying ingredients. After a search warrant was obtained for their residence, officers discovered meth ingredients. |
