Two Gandeeville, Roane County residents are in Central Regional Jail, charged with operating a clandestine meth lab.

Annette Marie Starcher, 29, has been charged with operating a clandestine drug lab, a felony, one count of conspiracy and one count for petit larceny.

Gary Andrew Nichols, 31, has been charged with operating a clandestine meth lab, one count of conspiracy, one count of possession of an illegal substance, and one count for violation of home confinement.

Bond has been set over $100,000 for each of the accused.

The Roane County Sheriff's Department arrested the couple after it was discovered they were buying ingredients. After a search warrant was obtained for their residence, officers discovered meth ingredients.
