TRIALS RESET IN TWO CALHOUN CRIMINAL CASES

Two criminal cases set for trial in Calhoun Circuit Court Tuesday, have been re-scheduled. State vs. Paul Goodrich III, related to the operation of a meth lab in February, 2012, has now been scheduled for trial on August 28. State vs. Jody Lynn Shock, related to a burglary charge, has been continued to October 23. The case 2nd degree murder case against Thomas Lee Husk was dropped by Judge David W. Nibert, based on problems with the presentment of the case to a grand jury in March, 2012. It could be re-filed.
