BANDY RESIGNS AS DEPUTY SHERIFF - Applicants Needed For Replacement

Calhoun Deputy Sheriff Ron Bandy has resigned, and Sheriff Allen Parsons is looking for a replacement. The Calhoun County Deputy Sheriff's Civil Service Commission is now accepting applications of people interested in taking the competitive eligibility examination that will be given on Thursday August 8, 2002 at 10 a.m. for the position of Deputy Sheriff. Applicants must submit their application to the Calhoun County Clerk before July 30, 2002 at 3 p.m. Applications are available in the County Clerks Office, if you have any questions contact the Clerk's Office at 354-6725
