| Lizzie Ashby Moore, formerly of Reedy, West Virginia died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Morgantown, West Virginia where she resided for the last five years .
Lizzie was born on August 24, 1930 in Cicerone, West Virginia a daughter of the late John Floyd and Dellie Ashby. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Alvin Coolidge Moore and a daughter, Ruthie Moore Weese.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Moore of Morgantown and Sandra DuBois and spouse, Bob, of Reedsville, West Virginia; three sons, Lennie Ray Moore and spouse, Nancy, of Coolville, Ohio, Jerry Moore and spouse, Joanna, of Reedy, and Bobby Moore of Orma, West Virginia; seven grandchildren, Jason Brabham, Christopher Bunner, Chad Moore, Matthew DuBois, Marissa DuBois, Ashley Weese Haddox, and Alanna Kelly; and six great-grandchildren.
Her family is deeply appreciative of the wonderful care given by the Golden Living Center and the extraordinary support provided by Hospice Care.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia with Dr. David Spence officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery, Reedy. Visiting hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. |
