HUNTINGTON WORKPLACE SHOOTING - The suspect in an apparent domestic dispute that police say led to shooting up a medical facility in Cabell County is now in custody.

Jerry Blake, 43, took a gun to the place where his estranged wife's office is located at Cabell Huntington Hospital's 20th Street Medical Professional Building.

Blake fired shots about 8:30 am Tuesday with no one being hurt, said police.

He surrendered at his home after about an hour long standoff with police.

Blake is charged with two counts of wanton endangerment and one count of domestic assault.

LOGAN HOLD-UP - State police are searching for two masked men who held up a Rich Oil gas station in Logan County.

The men walked into the station at Cora early Sunday morning.

One was wearing a bandanna over his face, while the other was wearing a Halloween mask.

The man in the mask loaded up on beer and cigarettes, while the other man held up the clerk and a customer with a knife.

It was the clerk's third day on the job. He was able to open the register and the men took off with cash.
