Brittney Fuccy, a dental hygienist student from West Virginia University, has been spending the summer with Minnie Hamilton Health System-Dental Office.

Brittney just completed her third year at WVU and chose Grantsville as the site of her summer rotation, a lengthy drive from her family home in New Cumberland, WV. Brittney began her rotation at Minnie Hamilton on May 29, 2012 and will finish on July 19, 2012.

While at Minnie Hamilton, she has worked closely with staff and feels this summer has been a big help in preparing her for her senior year at WVU. For a service project, she provided a presentation to the residents of Long Term Care at Minnie Hamilton on proper dental hygiene, including denture care.

She also participated in a Long Term Care resident activity, assisting Activity Director Janet Poling. The residents had a great time with Brittney and wish her the best of luck. Brittney said, working at Minnie Hamilton for the summer has been a lot of fun and that she has learned a lot from the staff - "it has been a great experience for me."
