A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Friday evening, according to the The National Weather Service in Charleston.

In WV, the watch is for Braxton, Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Harrison, Lewis, Ritchie, Roane, Upshur, Wirt and Wood.

Thursday's storms have left a number of trees down in highways.

The NWS says the watch has been issued because the ground is saturated with water.
