National Night Out will be held today at Wayne Underwood Field in Grantsville beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Traditionally, residents are asked to turn on their porch lights in recognition of the event.

There will be lots of fun activities for children and families including a Bounce House, Fire Department "Foam" and "old fashioned" games such as potato sack races, relays, and hula hoops.

There will be free hot dogs and drinks for the entire family along with family entertainment.

There will be informational tables and free school supplies.

Local car enthusiasts are invited to bring their car to the event - whether you have a show car, drag car, hot rod or your special car you would like to show off - bring it to the field Tuesday evening.

If you would like to have a booth at the event or would like to volunteer, please contact the Family Resource Network at (304) 354-7177.
