| Rita Carter Ramsey, 51, of Rosedale, Gilmer County, WV, died Sunday
February 11th. in
Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division.
Born in Braxton County , she was a daughter of the late Orville and
Edith King Carter. She was
a licensed Practical Nurse at Heartwood of Charleston and Braxton
County Health Care
Center.
Surviving Mrs. Carter are one son, John Michael Carter of Rosedale and
one daughter, Rachel
Marie Singleton of Frametown, WV. Also surviving are four sisters,
Carolyn Jackson of Beverly,
Ohio, Betty Carson of Buckhannon, WV, Lois Carter and Janet Carter
both of Gassaway, WV.
Six brothers, Jim Carter and Jerry Carter both of Grafton, Ohio,
Donald Carter and Richard
Carter both of Rosedale, Timmy Carter of Cleveland, Ohio and Doug
Carter of Clay, WV.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Rosedale
United Methodist Church.
Elder Mark Minney will officiate. Interment will be in the Rosedale
Cemetery. Friends may call at
the church one hour prior to the services. Stump Funeral Home,
Arnoldsburg is in charge of
arrangements.
