UPDATE: EARLY SUNDAY AM ATV ACCIDENT UPPER NICUT RD.

Calhoun EMS responded to an ATV accident at the end of Upper Nicut Road in the edge of Braxton County at 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The driver of the ATV, reportedly a 40-50-year-old-male, was reported to be unresponsive after crashing into a hillside, the 911 report saying the incident was likely linked to alcohol consumption. State Police responded from Calhoun, a deputy from Braxton County, with the Upper West VFD also answering the call. Weather conditions prevented flying the man directly to a medical center. The victim was taken to Braxton Co. Hospital, the extent of his injuries not know. Braxton EMS and Frametown VFD also responded.
