CALHOUN COMMISSION RECOGNIZES OES/911 DIRECTOR KATHY WOOD - Resolution Recognizing Responders, Volunteers, Neighbors Helping Neighbors

(07/13/2012)
The Calhoun Commission issued two proclamations Wednesday, one recognizing the county's OES/911 Director Kathy Wood for her 24/7 call to duty during the relief efforts after the wind storm swept across the county on June 29.

The second proclamation recognized the efforts of county volunteers and responders who once again rose to a call to duty in helping citizens, also recognizing the citizens themselves who have long had the character trait of neighbor helping neighbor when the chips are down.

The proclamation, now a matter of record, was signed in behalf of county citizens by Commission President Kevin Helmick, and commissioners Scottie Westfall and Bob Weaver.
