Calhoun (9% out) and Wirt County (11% out), the state's most sparsely populated, had the highest percentage of electric outages in the state Wednesday night following the June 28 wind storm. Calhoun residents without power at 402 and Wirt County with 522. Roane County had 8% of electric customers without power Wednesday night at 439. The number of phone customers without service has not been available from Frontier.
