Douglas E. Jones, 28 - Walton

Douglas E. Jones, 28, of Walton, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.

He left behind his precious son, Roy D. "Little Doug" Jones; his loving mother and father, Navorine "Noot" and Dave Patterson of Walton and Eugene Jones of Virginia; half-sisters, Christina (Kevin) Weese of Charleston WV and Sonya Piffer of Pennsylvania; maternal grandparents, Kay and Shirley Marks of Walton; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Jones of Virginia; maternal great grandfather, Leslie Marks of Walton; uncle and aunt, Brian and Kathy Marks of Walton, Walter and Marlyn Jones and Barbara Ezell of Virginia; cousins, Beth and Briana Marks of Walton; soul mate and girlfriend, Amber Taylor; mother of his child, Junie Jones of Walton; several family and friends.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Elmer Jones, Sr.; great grandparents, Hazel Marks; Amos "Bo" and Martha Moore.

He was employed by R and R Well Service, Walton.

A celebration of the life of Douglas is set for Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Andy Osborne officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore Cemetery, Walton.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
