As 100 degrees temperatures struck the county Friday, Calhoun EMS took at least two people to Minnie Hamilton Health System Friday, suffering from heat exhaustion or dehydration.

Saturday could be the hottest day of the summer, according to the NWS.

They have issued an Excessive Heat Warning from noon to 8 PM

Cooling stations, with water and food available, will be maintained today at the Grantsville VFD, the Upper West Fork VFD and the Arnoldsburg Community Building, according to OES/911 Director Kathy Wood.
