GILMER MAN ARRESTED FOR ABUSING GIRL

A Gilmer County man was arrested over accusations that he touched a young girl several times, and texted and called her almost 100 times, even after she asked him to stop. A criminal complaint says Robert Hacker, 48, allegedly gave the girl an alcoholic drink on June 30th. Magistrate Judge Carol Wolfe has set Hacker's bail at $100,000 cash only.
