The Grantsville Police Department also responded to the incident.

The report indicated a person called 911 who was "hiding in the woods," calling on a cell phone for assistance.

State Police requested an ambulance to the location at 11:40 p.m. but they did not transport anyone to the hospital.

They took Rory Dewayne Gachassain, 48, into custody and charged him with domestic battery.

He is in Central Regional Jail.
