Calhoun OES/911 Director Kathy Wood (who has been
camping out at Calhoun Control) and helper loads
bottled water to county fire departments Monday

Drinking water was distributed at the Grantsville, Arnoldsburg and Upper West Fork Fire Departments Monday.

Since many county residents could not pump well water because of the electrical outage.

The Pleasant Hill PSD system, which covers northern Calhoun and the greater Smithville area ran out of water.

That system is up and running Tuesday evening.

Calhoun OES/911 Director Kathy Wood obtained an emergency shipment of bottled water through state OES.

The Grantsville Water Company and the Mt. Zion PSD system are operating normally.
