Virgil H. Losh, 65 - Glenville

Virgil H. Losh age 65 of Glenville West Virginia, departed this life Friday June 22, 2012 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown West Virginia, following a long illness.

Born August 21, 1946 in Gilmer County, son of the late Harold Queen and Genevive Pritt Jones.

Virgil was a very hard worker and especially enjoyed roofing. In his spare time, he collected cigarette lighters, loved watching NASCAR, and was a fan of Dale Jarrett and the #88 car. Virgil had a special spot in his heart for the hills of West Virginia and was a Baptist by faith.

Mr. Losh is survived by 1 daughter, Peggy Losh of Glenville; 1 grandson, Samuel Thompson of Glenville; 2 sisters, Dorothy Townsend of Troy West Virginia and Teressa Grimm of Clarksburg West Virginia; 3 brothers, Leon Losh and wife Sue of Sutton West Virginia, Russell Losh of Mt. Olive West Virginia, and Freddie Losh of Clarksburg; 1 favorite brother-in-law, Jess Langford and wife Carol of North Carolina.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 son Stacy H. Losh and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., with Rev. Lloyd Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the McHenry II Cemetery, Sand Fork West Virginia. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
