CALHOUN SCHOOLS EXPEL 15 STUDENTS DURING SCHOOL YEAR

(06/22/2012)
The number of students expelled from Calhoun Middle-High for school year 2011-12 totaled 15, according to Superintendent Roger Propst.

Propst said ten of the expelled students violated the school's drug policy.

Five other students were expelled for violations of behavioral conduct.

While school systems never identify the names of students being expelled, the Calhoun school system went a step further this year in protecting confidentially by not sustaining what action the school board took regarding an expulsion during meetings.
