STATE POLICE RESPOND TO DISPUTE IN GRANTSVILLE

State Police apprehended a male subject after he reportedly fled from a dispute at a High Street residence Sunday afternoon. A 911 call reported a woman running to the residence, reportedly bleeding. State Police intercepted the car with one or more subjects near the intersection of Rt. 5-16. Calhoun EMS responded to the residence, but the injured party was not transported to the hospital. State Police contacted DHHR Children's Service, indicating children were involved in the affray. A male subject was taken into custody and reportedly taken to Central Regional Jail.
