Hibbert Linville, 72 - Mineral Wells,

Hibbert Linville, 72, of Mineral Wells, passed away on June 14, 2012, at his residence.

He was born March 24, 1940, in Calhoun County, a son of the late Billy and Veda O. Hathaway Linville.

He retired from DuPont after 39 years of service. He was a sports official for Peewee Football in Mineral Wells for 20 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and coaching. He was a member of Mt Olivet Masonic Lodge 3.

He graduated from Calhoun County High School in the Class of 1958.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Wanda L. Egnor Linville; two sons, Kenneth B. Linville of Chesapeake, Va., and Kevin L. (Julie) Linville of Washington, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Felicia, Nicholas, Jordyne and Brodey Linville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin Linville, Dick Linville and his twin brother, Howard Linville; and two sisters, Isabelle Raines and Lizzie Mae Stout.

A memorial service will be noon Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street, south Parkersburg, with Pastor Joe Law officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
