Paralee Roberta Wissinger, 60 - Lost Creek

Paralee Roberta Wissinger age 60 of Good Hope (Lost Creek Community) West Virginia, departed this life at 4:28 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown West Virginia following a sudden illness.

Born August 28, 1951 in Glenville West Virginia, daughter of Madeline Bennett Langford who survives in Good Hope WV, and the late Robert Beryl Langford.

Paralee enjoyed reading, cooking, crafting and loved gardening. She was attending the West Virginia Business College, where she was working to get a degree in Business Management. She was also a Pentecostal by faith.

Surviving are 2 sons, Larry Burkhammer of Buckhannon WV and Jesse Burkhammer of Vermillion OH; 1 daughter, Celena Burkhammer of Elyria OH; 4 stepdaughters, Terri Smith, Kim Wissinger and Tracy Schoeverth all of Elyria, and Ronda Nichols of Alabama; 3 brothers, Charlie Langford and wife Monica of Good Hope, Bryon Langford and wife Janet of Lost Creek, and Robert Langford of Elyria; 2 sisters, Joyce Ward and husband Carl of Good Hope and Cheryl Riffle and husband Charlie of Jane Lew WV. She is also survived by family friend Dan Eskew of Buckhannon WV and ex-husband, Billie Wissinger. There are 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also surviving and another great grandchild due to arrive anytime.

Along with her father, Paralee was preceded in death by her first husband Larry Burkhammer.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville WV at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 19, 2012 with Rev. Ronald Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Stalnaker Cemetery Glenville WV. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
