ORIGINAL STORY - A former Roane County schools technology specialist and his brother will be sentenced today on child pornography charges.

U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin said that Adam K. Seen, a former information technologist and his brother, Jacob T. Seen, both in their 20s, will be sentenced Monday in Charleston on child pornography charges before U.S. District Judge Thomas E. Johnston.

They plead guilty to possession of child pornography in January.

An earlier press release said, if convicted, Jacob Seen faced up 30 years in prison and a $500,000 fine. Adam Seen faced up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, if convicted.

Officials said the men admitted to having the images and videos containing child pornography, with many of the images depicting prepubescent minors.

The indictments came following a 2009 investigation by the West Virginia State Police.
