CALHOUN SCHOOLS ANNOUNCE SUMMER BUS SCHEDULE

Calhoun County Schools has announced the bus schedule for Energy Express and Summer Programs as follows:

A.M. Routes

North #1 - Start at Big Bend, Yellow Creek Road 7:20; Rt. 16 North to Leading Creek Road, 7:35; Leading Creek Road 7:45; Rt. 16 South to Pleasant Hill School, 8:00; Minnie Hamilton Health Systems, 8:10; Rt. 16 South to Calhoun Middle/High School, 8:30.

North #2 - Start at Buffalo Rock Apartments at 7:25; Rt. 5 West to Munday Road 7:50; East on Rt 5 to Courthouse 8:10; Foodland 8:15; Rt. 16 South to Calhoun Middle/High School, 8:30.

South #1 - Start at Rt. 16 South at Tabernacle Church, 7:50; Rt. 16 North to Rt. 33; Rt. 33 West to Arnoldsburg Community Park, 8:10; Rt. 33 East to Rt. 16; Rt. 16 North to Calhoun Middle/High School, 8:25.

South #2 - Start Roane County Line, 7:25; Rt. 33 East to Cabin Run Road; Cabin Run Road to Beech Road; Beech Road to Minnora Community Building, 8:00; Rt. 16 North to Rt. 33; Rt. 33 East to Rt. 16; Rt. 16 North to Calhoun Middle/High School, 8:25.

P.M. Routes

North #1 - Start Calhoun Middle/High School, 3:30; Minnie Hamilton Health Systems 3:45; Rt. 16 North to Pleasant Hill School 3:50; Rt. 16 North to Leading Creek Road, 4:10; Rt. 16 South to Yellow Creek Road, 4:20; Yellow Creek Road to Big Bend, 4:35.

North #2 - Start Calhoun Middle/High School, 3:30; Rt. 16 North to Foodland, 3:45; to Grantsville, courthouse, 3:50; Rt. 5 West to Munday Road 4:00, Rt. 5 East to Buffalo Rock Apartments 4:25.

South #1 - Start Calhoun Middle/High School, 3:30; Rt. 16 South to Rt. 33; Rt. 33 West to Arnoldsburg Community Park, 3:45; Rt. 33 East to Rt. 16; Rt. 16 South to Tabernacle Church, 4:05.

South #2 - Start Calhoun Middle/High School, 3:30; Rt. 16 South to Rt. 33; Rt. 33 West to Roane County line, 4:00; Rt. 33 East to Cabin Run Road, 4:10; to Beech Road; Beech Road to Minnora Community Building, 4:35.

There will be no midday bus runs. Any student staying for only the morning program will need to make arrangements to be picked up after the morning program. Any student coming only for the afternoon program will need to make arrangements to be dropped off for the afternoon program.

These bus routes are subject to change depending upon where participants choose to board the bus. Times are estimates only and parents are asked to have children there early on the first day and be prepared to wait beyond the announced arrival time. Parents must be there to receive their children, as the bus cannot wait for long period of time.

Any changes in bus routes and/or schedules will be announced to children and parents, if possible, at least one day before changes are made.
