Edward E. Murphy, 93, of Chloe, passed away May 28, 2012 at Braxton Health Care in Flatwoods WV. Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Jesse and Martha Sharp Murphy. He was retired from Packaging Corporation of America in Rittman, Ohio. He was a US Army Veteran and attended the Milo Church in Minnora. Surviving are his children, Roscoe Murphy of Spencer, Ronzel Murphy of Laettasburg, Ohio, Donzel Murphy of Burbank, Ohio, Danny Murphy of Camden-On-Gauley, WV, Richard Murphy of Creston, Ohio, Leonard Murphy of Polk, Ohio, Effie Tucker of Chesapeake, Virginia and Martha Nelson of Chloe. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Amanda Murphy, his second wife, Pearl Murphy, and his third wife, Zella Murphy, three children, David, Bobby and Glen Murphy, a brother, Arthur Murphy and a sister, Dalia Wilson. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2012, 1:00pm at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Rev. John Meadows will officiate. Interment will be in the Coen Cemetery at Nebo. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00am Friday until the time of the services.
