HAMLIN BANK HEIST - State Police are searching for the person who walked into a Lincoln County bank and held it up Tuesday afternoon.

The City National Bank in Hamlin was the victim.

Police say someone walked into the bank, showed a weapon, demanded cash, then took off on foot.

Dispatchers say that the suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery.

FAMILY FEUD TURNS VIOLENT - A dispute between a father and son turned violent Monday.

Kanawha County deputies say Cable Shamblin, 20, allegedly stabbed his father Larry Shamblin, 65 in the chest with a knife on Derrick's Creek Road.

Deputies say the elder Shamblin allegedly fired several shots before they arrived on scene.

Larry Shamblin was taken to a Charleston hospital with a stab wound to his upper chest.
