Twenty-three members of the Calhoun High School graduating class of 2012, which has 73 grads, received scholarships Friday during the graduation ceremony.

Four grads received Promise Scholarships.

Elmer Blair - West Liberty $5,500 per year; NWVRHEC Internship $500.

Kelcey Bourne - Randy Brannon Memorial $500.

Samantha Church - Alumni Association $1,000.

Nathan Cosgrove - Lions Club $500.

April Frymier - GSC Hidden Promise $1,000; Melissa Oshoway Memorial $1,000.00.

Samantha Fulks - Kurt R. Weiss (Make A Wish) $200.

Rochelle Gerwig - Calhoun Banks $750.

Allison Gumbarevic - Promise $4,750 (renewable); WVU Presidential $3,000 (renewable); HSTA tuition waiver; Leggett Reeg $1,500 per semester; Calhoun Band $500.

Sidney Hipp - HSTA tuition waiver; Dorothy Hersman Slider Memorial $1000.

Danielle Lancaster - WV Wesleyan Presidential $15,000 (renewable); W.P. Black $1,000 (renewable); Darrill Hashman $500; Cunningham/Wilson $300.

Sarah Lane - Promise $4,750 (renewable); Hidden Promise $1000; Mollohan Foundation Discretionary Grant $500; Delta Kappa Gamma Recruitment Award $200.
