Eva Elaine Cooke, 70 - formerly of Shock

Eva Elaine Cooke, 70, of Charleston, formerly of Shock, Gilmer County WV, passed away April 30, 2012 at Hubbard House in Charleston. She was born at Shock the daughter of the late Orval and Nellie Dobbins Nicholas. Surviving are her children, Will Orval Cooke of Johnson City, Vermont, Walter Stephen Cooke of Scott Depot WV and Gerald D. Cooke Jr. of Charleston WV; three sisters, Darlie Norman of Gandeeville WV, Neva Haines of Ravenna OH and Paulette Chenoweth of Arizona; two brothers, David Nicholas of Weston WV and Darrell Nicholas of Rosedale WV; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Evangelist Gene Miller will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
